The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is working with State agencies, regional entities, tribes, and communities to update flood hazard risk information and produce new digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs). Per the new Expanded Appeals Process (EAP), only studies and Physical Map Revisions (PMRs) for which Proposed Flood Elevation Determination Notices have yet to be published in the Federal Register and those for which preliminary FIRMs and Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports will be issued on or after December 1, 2011 will be listed here.  Studies processed using the current appeal initiation process will not be restarted.  To reference studies that are already effective, please visit the Map Service Center.  Click on state of interest below for county specific information.
